GitHub Constellation 2024
A day-long developer conference in Bengaluru anchored by GitHub's CEO, with deep dives into Actions, Codespaces, and Copilot, plus talks from Namma Yatri and NPCI.
GitHub Constellation was one of those days that reorders your sense of scale. Thomas Dohmke opened with a keynote, and the whole room immediately ran on that kind of energy. Over the day I sat with Actions, Codespaces, Secrets, and Copilot, and each one quietly changed how I reach for tools in my own work.
The talks I keep thinking about were the ones showing systems at enormous scale. Namma Yatri built a mobility platform the community actually owns, and NPCI talked about keeping UPI alive across billions of transactions a second. Neither was a demonstration; they were stories about reliability that is almost invisible because it never fails.
Mostly I left grateful to be in that room at all, surrounded by builders who carried the same curiosity I do.
